The great loss:-

Finally the shocking bad news reached us that our beloved friend Eng.Thasthakeer is no longer with us ,let us pray for his triumph in the endless next life .


Thasthakeer has completed his Masters and Chartered and has become the Best performer amongst the Zahirian '96 batch at the time of his demise , he had an excellent track record in his career, he was one of those self -educated scholars of Kalmunai Zahira College. He did his best for his school and university by volunteering teaching of mathematics and serving as the seceretary of Peradeniya University Muslim Majlis.

In his professional career he reached the best position considering his age and experience , he was promoted to Project Manager level and was praised as one of the most efficient construction Managers.His fame was reached to the top level construction planners as he has completed one two storied building with in 48 days.

His Teachinng Career :-

Thasthakeer possess natural talents in teaching ,he started teaching well before Ordinary level , a specialist teacher of mathematics for the weak peer students ,After O/L and upto 2nd Year of A/L he continued to teach Mathematics Voluntarily in the weekend school called "Ahadiyya". After A/L exams he actively involved in conducting classes for poor students on a full time basis , he conducted seminars for O/L students and Published model examination papers.He encouragred me also in teaching and we both taught mathematics for O/L students in our school Kalmunai Zahira College .

He did not stop teaching after his graduation , he had been serving as the visiting lecturer at Akkaraippattu Technical College.

Talents and Qualities :-

He is one of the self taught learner . Never worried about attending classes or lecturers, I admired his will power when facing exams, he can score more than average by last minutes preparations . I can witness this more as I was his room mate through out the university , O/L and A/L. We started ( actually he pioneered ) combine studies in '92 ( year 10 ) and we both have taken equal best performance in '93 O/L results .

His family respected our friendship that is the reason we both were able to succeed in the secondary education.His Grand Mother and his uncles always care about both of us, they encourage both of us to study together as they believed in the spirit of our friendship.

Thasthkeer is not only shined in Curricular activities ,he showed his colors in sports even, he was the "hitter" opener for our class team .

Unique Characteristics :-


Thasthakeer is a fighter; he will be there for his cause encouraging his mates, he never lost confidence
whether it is watching cricket or studying for exams or managing construction , ( His closed friends would say how he watched cricket up to the last ball , he never quit his confidence in halfway, whatever the position his team is ) Another example is fighting to re-schedule '98 A/L exam after allegations made by students ; we succeeded in that mission.


Our duty :-

Let us pray Almighty God to reward him the "Jannathul Firthowse" the paradise promised by Allah for righteous and pious.

My friend is no longer there , I am at despair ,please forgive him if he made any mistakes to anyone of you in the past, Pray for his Aakira and prepare ourselves also to the straight path shown by Islam.
